    Welcome to the Home Page of Mary Anne and Jim Gehl. Both are life long residents of Waterloo County. They have two sons, Trevor & Christopher and two wonderful grandsons, William and Wesley, (Trevor & Tracey's sons). 


Trevor works at CAA Car Care Centre  at the Westmount, Kitchener branch as Service Advisor.  He plays the keyboard, enjoys working on his "Apple" computer, and also spends time at the Twin City Rifle Club target shooting. He is the proud father of William and Wesley, two energetic boys.


Tracey works part time at Zehrs Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, in the Cold Deli Department.  She loves working with people and enjoys needle work, crocheting and knitting. She keeps busy looking after her sons William Robert born on November 6, 2008 and Wesley Brian born on October 19, 2010.


Christopher has followed in his mom's footsteps and is a sales representative at Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty. Prior to moving into the real estate business, Chris gained related experience working in the retail and transportation industries. He also enjoys working out at the gym, computers, hunting and fishing and spending time with his two nephews.


Mary Anne is one of the top producing Sales Representatives with the Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty, on Riverbend Drive Kitchener, where she has earned sales awards each year for outstanding sales achievements.   She is an  Accredited Buyer Representative with The National Association of Realtors and a Residential Relocation Specialist with Coldwell Banker.  As well, Mary Anne conducts First Time Home Buyers and Downsizing Seminars.  
Prior to moving into the real estate business, Mary Anne gained related experience as a legal secretary for 18 years as well as Office Manager for a local Electrical contractor.

Jim has been employed with Zehrs Markets, Southern Ontario's leading food chain, since June 1960.  He retired on September 30th. 2004. He contracted back to Zehrs, part time as the Garden Centre and Special Projects Advisor for 4 years and finally is fully retired since August 17, 2007.  This made him an employee at Zehrs for 47 years.
He is spending time at home and helping Mary Anne with some technical support and other tasks to help her Real Estate clients. He has also become very proficient with cooking and chores around the house.  
He has also done a number of speaking engagements to various groups.  Topics include. "How to plant your planters" and "Getting Your Lawn and Garden Ready for the Season." (Spring & Fall).
 Although not a professional horticulturalist, he has extensive knowledge about plants and their care.   
Over his 47 years at Zehrs, Jim was able to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the business as he worked his way up through the company.  For 28 years, Jim was the Floral and Bulk Food Specialist in 59 Zehrs Markets across Ontario. He was very involved in Garden Centres with the company and has been instrumental in building the business in the Full Line Florist stores.  Zehrs worked with  more than 40 full line florist stores across Ontario.  They all have FTD wire service and can send flowers anywhere in the world.  Zehrs is one of the top 100 FTD members in North America, for sending and receiving FTD orders.  Jim was very instrumental in setting up the central FTD desk at the office to send and receive order from all the Zehrs stores.  The company has added  FORTINO'S Stores to the FTD system as well as a number of Loblaw stores for sending only.

Jim is gaining knowledge in computers, plays the piano, and has enjoys the hobby of carving birds and figures. He is a member of the Grand Valley Woodcarving club in Kitchener and was serving as president from 2008 to 2010.  He is also a motorcycle enthusiast riding his V-star when ever possible.
